Wnetwork_schematice investigate the neural mechanisms underlying learning and memory. Our unit is led by Prof. Sen Cheng and is one of three units in the newly formed Mercator Research Group (MRG) "Structure of Memory". The MRG is funded by the Stiftung Mercator and investigates episodic and semantic memory processes and their relation to other cognitive functions. It comprises a diverse and interdisciplinary team of philosophers and experimental as well as theoretical neuroscientists. The main language of communication in the group is English.
